Traineeships
Traineeships are an opportunity for employers to provide their staff with a nationally recognised formal qualification. Employers can benefit in many ways including specifically tailoring the training to suit their workplace and the working schedules of employees.Traineeships can lead to a competitive advantage for organisations. Traineeships are delivered using flexible workplace training practices through nationally recognised assessment guidelines to industry standards.
As part of this initiative, employers may be eligible to claim financial incentives for each enrolled trainee. Traditionally what's been known to employers as a cost centre can now be a profit centre. This will be offered to an employer who engages a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to implement the traineeship, as it ensures employees are assessed & trained by suitably qualified trainers to a nationally recognised standard.
What is the role of NTS?
NTS is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), accredited to provide quality training and assessment services for eligibile employees through Traineeships.NTS staff work with the employer to determine the Traineeship type and also the competencies which best suit the particular business and needs of the trainee.
NTS's Workplace Assessors manage the Traineeships and assist trainees where required, to obtain the skills to a nationally recognised standard.
NTS will offer on-going support via a help desk throughout the Traineeship.
NTS will provide trainees will be provided with a Nationally Recognised Qualification upon successful completion of the Traineeship.
NTS uses flexible workplace training practices to accommodate any special needs of trainees such as language, literacy of disability.
